Seven I AM Statements of Jesus

The more we discover about who Jesus is, the more we will discover who we truly are. In Him we find clear statements of Truth and are more than Him declaring His identity, these declarations shape our identity. All seven I Am sayings of Jesus are recorded in the Gospel of John. We’re reading through them this month at She Lives Fearless. This is a great way to focus our attention and heart as we prepare for Easter, amidst all that’s happening in March.

Below is a list of Jesus’ seven “I Am” statements in the book of John. Download your free PDF here and read along with us as we apply them personally and practically as Believers. A daily prompt with reflection questions is included.

“I am the bread of life.” John 6:35, 41, 48, 51

“I am the light of the world.”  John 8:12

“I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7,9

“I am the resurrection and the life.”  John 11:25

“I am the good shepherd.” John 10:11,14

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.” John 14:6

“I am the true vine.” John 15:1-5

Which one stands out to you? What do these mean to you as a Christian? Dina Deleasa-Gonsar and I are discussing and diving deeper into each one this month on the podcast. We’re also having conversations with two of our favorite Bible teachers, Tasha Calvert and Erin H. Warren. New episodes drop every Wednesday this month so be sure and subscribe so you don’t miss them. We believe these truths from scripture and conversations will help deepen your faith as you go and as you grow!

If you live in the New Jersey and New York area, join. us on April 20th for a one-day-only in-person She Lives Fearless Conference! The details are here.
